Modern-Boho lampshade to use as a bedside light or in a cluster.
The organic material doum is natural, eco-friendly, and raw. The weaving process uses an openwork technique within sections of the plain weave. This method and the strands falling around give an airy and light feel.
It works all by its lonesome, in pairs, or even arranged in a random cluster. Using several lampshades to make a composition creates unique lighting effects. You could also create a cluster effect above the coffee table, dining table, bar, or kitchen island. Or use them as bedside lamps.
Why I love it:
The ideal size to let your imagination do the work. Some of my clients used them to make a garland, a wall sconce, or a composition with three lampshades.
Dimensions : about H8/10×10/12 inches —- H20/25×25/30 cm
This suspension is handcrafted and unique. It may have certain irregularities that make it so charming. There may be slight variations in shape, size, or color depending on the condition of the material. The color is sometimes green when the material is young and becomes increasingly yellow or tanned with time and sunshine.
* To accelerate the yellowing of the fiber, leave the suspension in the sun for a few days.
* The fiber of doum, the Mediterranean grass used to make these luminaires, is malleable. If it has been folded during transport and keeps its shape due to transport, let it sit on the ground for a few hours until it returns to its standard form. If this is not the case, you can spray it lightly and help with weights or templates.
