Woven rattan openwork pendant light. Boho chic style. Natural materials create warm and cozy vibes in your living spaces.
Talented artisans in Morocco weave this beehive-inspired lampshade. The ceiling light features an original and unique shape. The openwork braiding allows a beautiful light diffusion and creates a warm and romantic atmosphere.
The chandelier is made of natural fibers called doum or esparto, a rustic, resistant, and eco-friendly Mediterranean herb.
Why I love it:
It makes me think of a cocoon with this oblong shape.
Dimensions h50x35 cm, h20x14 inches
Electric cable is not included; you can pass the electric wire in the opening. To assemble the fixture, I usually tie a nice string (hempy strings fit perfectly to this) from the ceiling to the shade handle. The line length depends on the distance you want your lamp off the top.
This suspension is handcrafted and unique. It may have certain irregularities that make it so charming. There may be slight variations in shape, size, or color depending on the condition of the material.
* To accelerate the yellowing of the fiber, leave the suspension in the sun for a few days.
* The fiber of alfa, the Mediterranean grass used to make these luminaires, is malleable. If it has been folded during transport and keeps its shape due to transport, let it sit on the ground for a few hours until it returns to its normal form. If this is not the case, you can spray it lightly and help it with weights or templates.
