These finely and precisely woven Binga baskets, also called Tonga, are designed by the women of the Batonga tribe in Zimbabwe. If you like Ethnic interior design style, you can’t miss these beautiful wall baskets. The African ornaments add texture and authentic atmosphere to your space.

Traditionally round, the weaving starts with a delicate small square. The ethnic baskets are braided in natural organic fibers.

The weaving is more refined and tighter than the Moroccan Berber wall baskets. They are also light and delicate. They are used to separate the grain from the impurities. That is the reason for their fineness and lightness.
