This magnificent graphic pouf cover is refashioned from an old Moroccan Beni Ourain wool carpet. The colors are slightly faded. Black has turned on brown and white on cream ivory, which gives it an incredible softness of tones. The cushions made from the new Beni Ourain carpets have much brighter colors.
The design of its carpets is timeless and versatile. This pouf will fit any bohemian, classic, retro, ethnic, or Scandinavian interior. It adds softness thanks to its neutral tones and its thick texture. It will be perfect if you want to set up in a laid-back space. It has been handwoven and tainted with natural dyes in geometric patterns.
The designs of these rugs turned into poufs are very simple. Thus, dark lines cross the plain ivory surface. The minimalist simplicity is precisely the main strength of these all-purpose poufs.
Why I love it:
This one is exceptional and rare; it comes from a genuine ancient carpet. The wool is beautiful, high pile, and the colors are delicate.
The ad only concerns the cover, but if you want the floor cushion with an insert, please get in touch with me to give you a quote.
To stuff the cover, use stuffing, polystyrene beads, or recycled materials such as old clothes…

Please note that this pillow is made from a vintage rug. It might show slight imperfections, which are part of the charm of this item. Given the age of the material (the carpet dates from the 80s), carefully wash gently, preferably with cold water and leave to dry flat.
