Vintage Berber wool carpet, long-haired, handmade, traditionally woven by Berber women in the mountains. This thick everyday area rug features beautiful colors and warm harmony of shades, mainly red, orange, brown, and beige. Occasionally, some pieces of fabric of other colors appear in the weaving. It was, therefore, not a precious carpet but rather a rug designed for personal use.
It is made of different colored wools, which gives it particular reflections and shades.
Why I love it:
Its warm, autumnal colors
It is double-sided (as seen in the last picture) and can be used on both sides. It is very regular on the sides. It is soft to the touch and delightful to put your bare feet on.
It has fringes only on one side, like all Berber carpets.
