Dhara Rectangular Cushion in Mineral Tones

The Dhara cushion is crafted using the traditional Indian hand block print technique, an ancestral method where wooden stamps are carved by hand and pressed onto fabric. For this series, the fabric was printed in long panels where different motifs overlap and unfold: floral lines, geometric shapes, even layered patterns on a single surface.

The result? No two cushions are ever alike. Some reveal bold floral compositions, others more graphic or abstract designs — each one visually rich, almost like a textile painting.

Natural pigments in taupe and red

Part of our Mineral India Collection, Dhara blends a soft taupe background with earthy red motifs. These tones come from natural pigments traditionally used in Indian craftsmanship, giving each cushion a warm yet subtle character that works beautifully in both modern and eclectic interiors.

Moroccan finishes inspired by caftans

Each cover is carefully sewn in Morocco, where our artisans add their signature touch: handmade tassels on each corner, stitched using a technique inspired by caftan embellishments. A refined detail that makes these cushions unmistakably unique.

Because block printing is done by hand, irregularities or slight variations in color naturally occur. These are not flaws — they’re part of the charm of true handmade textiles. If you’d like to pick your favorite pattern, feel free to request photos of the pieces currently in stock.
